June 14th, 2022
It's been a long time since we have posted. Our website is now updated. New updates include the marching band page with the mailer and dates. We have also posted the scrapbook, and all of the documents to our Disney Trip 2023 page.

July 22, 2020

Please read the whole post. Drumline and Color Guard can keep their equipment. The bottle drive is not canceled details on how that day will run will be available shortly.

Dear Fitzgerald Marching Band Families,

The health and safety of our students is our number one priority. Due to a structural problem that has arised on the high school athletic field and the COVID-19 requirements, Mr. Busuttil, Mr. Donnelly, and administration have decided to cancel all marching band summer activities that were to begin on July 23, 2020. This was a very difficult decision for us, but feel it is the best for our students.

Students enrolled in marching band class can expect to return in the fall. We are hoping to continue with the schedule provided in the 2020 marching band mailer available on the band website www.fitzgeraldbands.weebly.com. As we have more information we will continue to update the community. We appreciate your support and are happy to answer any questions via email.

Stay safe and we can not wait to see you all in the fall.

Pre-camp day one starts tomorrow. We are very excited to continue the amazing Fitz traditions and work with all of you. Our show this year is A Night Out With Queen and includes the following songs.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Under Pressure
Bohemian Rhapsody
Don't Stop Me Now

Make sure you are checking your mailer for times and the schedule for the year. All the scheduled activities and what we do at band camp is outlined in the mailer. We are adding the mailer to the website, along with the adjusted schedule for August 2nd's baseball game! Remember band camp is required unless there is a major illness or emergency. Doctors appointments (unless an emergency), sporting events, vacations will not be excused. If you miss a day with an unexcused absence you will be placed on the alternate list and will have to earn your spot back as they come available.

All of the music and drill has been placed on the marching band listening example tab. If you lose your music please go there and print up a new one. Remember you get points for participation and having the tools you need to be successful every day is imperative!

We can't wait to work with all of you and have an amazing 2019 SMB season!
Mr Busuttil and Mr Donnelly
